We keep our booking terms as friendly as our tours. Ephesus Tours by Locals is operated by GEZGİNOL TURİZM VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (TÜRSAB registry no. 15746), and our policy fits on a postcard: we never ask for prepayment, so there is never a cancellation fee.
No prepayment, ever
When you send a booking request, you are reserving a date — not paying in advance. We confirm your private tour by email, and you settle the tour price with us on the day. Because nothing is charged upfront, there is simply nothing to refund and no penalty if your plans change.
Changing or cancelling your tour
Plans change — cruise itineraries shift, flights are delayed, families get tired. Just let us know by email whenever you can, and we will happily reschedule or cancel your reservation at no cost whatsoever. Early notice is appreciated (it frees the date for other travellers), but it is never a condition and it never carries a fee.
Cancellations by us
We very rarely cancel, but if weather, site closures or events beyond our control make a tour unsafe or impossible, we will offer you the first available alternative date — and since you have paid us nothing in advance, you are never out of pocket. We are not responsible for independent costs you may arrange yourself (such as flights or hotels), so travel insurance is always wise.
