Ephesus and Village Life Tour
Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis in the morning; Sirince's stone lanes, handcrafts and long village lunch in the afternoon.

Our villagers will be happy to host you at their tables. Come hungry: a Turkish village breakfast is not a meal, it is a landscape.
In Turkish villages, breakfast is the meal that cannot be rushed: bread still warm from the wood oven, cheeses from the neighbor's goats, olives from the grove behind the house, tomatoes with actual flavor, honey in the comb, homemade jams, menemen eggs bubbling in the pan — and tea, always more tea, in tulip glasses that never stay empty.
This tour starts there, at a village-style breakfast table where our hosts genuinely enjoy showing guests how the day should begin. Only when you surrender does the second act start: a full guided visit of Ephesus Ancient City, timed for the late-morning lull, followed by the Temple of Artemis and — if you wish — the House of Virgin Mary.
It is our happiest itinerary. Something about beginning with hospitality instead of a headset makes the whole day warmer.
Slightly later than the classic tours — village breakfasts wait for no clock, but they do reward a little sleep.
An hour and a half at a groaning table in a village-style setting. Vegetarians thrive; so does everyone else.
The full circuit — Odeon, Curetes Street, Library of Celsus, Grand Theater — with the morning tour groups already thinning.
The lone column of the ancient wonder, and its improbable story.
A serene final stop to close the morning, if you wish.

Whichever ship brings you to Kusadasi or Izmir, our guides know its pier, its schedule and exactly how much time you really have ashore.

Guaranteed pick-up and drop-back on time — for every one of these cruise lines.
Yes — the village breakfast is the heart of this tour and is included. Only site entrance fees are separate, as with all our tours.
Villages handle vegetarian effortlessly and gluten-free with notice. Tell us your needs when booking and we will brief our hosts.
We flip the strategy: instead of beating them at opening, we arrive as the early groups leave. Your guide knows the rhythm of the site by heart.
